SERVER RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • By registering an account on the OLD FRIENDS project, you confirm your full agreement with these rules.

  • Ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from liability.

  • The Administration reserves the right to change these rules at any time without prior notice.

2. DISRUPTIVE SOFTWARE & CHEATING

  • The use of any third-party software (bots, clickers, scripts, macros) that provides an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

  • Modification of the game client or interfering with server protocols will result in a permanent HWID/IP ban.

  • Exploiting game bugs or geography for personal gain is prohibited. All found bugs must be reported to the administration.

3. REAL MONEY TRADING (RMT)

  • The sale or purchase of game currency, items, or accounts for real money outside the official project services is prohibited.

  • Any attempt to sell (even as a joke) will lead to an immediate ban of all associated accounts without the right to appeal.

4. COMMUNICATION & BEHAVIOR

  • Aggressive behavior, hate speech, racism, or insulting parents is not tolerated.

  • Impersonating staff members or attempting to blackmail players/admins will result in a permanent ban.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. DATA COLLECTION

  • We collect minimal data necessary for account security: Email address, IP address, and Hardware ID (HWID).

  • This data is used exclusively for authorization and protection against unauthorized access.

2. DATA PROTECTION

  • All personal information is encrypted and stored on secure servers. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1. SERVICE PROVISION

  • OLD FRIENDS provides a test gaming environment for Lineage 2 Interlude. All game characters, items, and currency are the property of the project administration.

2. DONATIONS & VIRTUAL GOODS

  • Donations (Contributions) are strictly voluntary and are used to maintain and develop the server infrastructure.

  • All donations are non-refundable.

  • Virtual items received as a "thank you" for your donation have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money.
